About us:-
Paschim Banga Vigyan Mancha is a voluntary organization and is working since 1988 for the welfare & awareness for common people. PBVM is a common platform where people, students, farmers can stand together and have extended their all type of help to run the programme specially in Rural & Remote area as stated below :
1)Antisuperstition programme: We have still working to bring mass awareness against all type of superstitions, witch identification & witch killing not only in Tribals but also in common people.
2)Medical Camp: After killing six persons in Sukandighi as identified witch, we had started medical camp in that village & continued it for 2 years with the help of MBBS & Homeopathic Doctors.Similar Medical camp for 18th months continued at Krishna Kalitala in malda as per our financial capacity.
3)Health check-up camp : We are still organizing Health Check-up Camp for school students & general people.
.4)Thalassemia Test & Awareness : With the help of Malda Medical college & Hospital Malda, we have successfully continuing this programme among the school students in various schools through out in the district.
5) Blood Donation Camp : Every year our organization is conducting Blood Donation programme with the help of doctors & technicians of Malda Medical college & Hospital.
6) Model Competition : Every year PBVM organizes Model competition on district level by covering maximum number of schools with partial support of SSM,Malda.
7) Astronomical Slide Show : PBVM is conducting this programme through out the year in different schools & villages in the district.
